Where are you located?
Our main office is based in London in the heart of Hatton Garden. We also have sister offices in Geneva, Switzerland, and Tel Aviv in Israel.

Trade Accounts
Why do you only sell to the trade?
We want to focus on our strengths, sourcing the best stones, and leave jewellery designers and manufacturers to focus on theirs; designing, making and marketing fine jewellery. We have spent generations building trust in the industry, and do not wish to pursue our customers' clients.
How do I apply for a trade account?
You can complete the registration form for a trade account here. We may need some time to verify your trade credentials, and may contact you for further information/proof of identity and/or trade registration. Once verified, you will receive an email with your login credentials.
May I share my trade account login credentials with someone else?
We limit accounts to members of the trade to protect your interests as much as ours. Any suspicious activity identified on your account may regrettably result in your access being revoked.
Our Stones
I'm looking for a specific stone for my client, but cannot find it on the website.
Get in touch! We hold more stock offline that is yet to be listed, and may have just what you are looking for.
Are your images true to life?
We have worked very hard to ensure that stones are accurately reflected in our images and videos. If you would like to see any more however, let us know which stones you are interested in and we would be happy to send you further photos or videos.
Can I share your images with my client?
Of course! Any further use of images outside of this is only granted with explicit permission however.
Do you sell conflict stones in your inventory?
The Gem Bank is a proud believer in the Kimberley Process Certification Scheme (KPCS), and can guarantee that the company only deals with 100% conflict-free diamonds.
As a proud partner of the Colored Gemstones Working Group (GCWG), a joiint initiative started in 2015 by Chopard, Gemfields, Kering, LVMH, Richemont, Swarovski, Tiffany & Co. and the Muzo Companies, we uphold the following commitments towards these goals:

Will I receive a laboratory certificate with my gemstone?
Wherever a stone is listed with a laboratory certificate, the physical document will be included with your
What does In-House Grading mean?
In-House grading refers to stones that have been graded by our in-house team and are not accompanied by a recognised laboratory report. There’s an option to request a certificate for these stones at an additional cost. Please contact us for more information.
Are your stones natural, or are they treated or enhanced in any way?
Most of the gemstones on the market today have gone through recognised, time-honoured treatments. Unless otherwise stated, all of the gemstones offered by The Gem Bank have received some treatment. Rubies, Sapphires and Emeralds that are certified as showing no signs of treatment are rare. The Gem Bank offers many Rubies, Sapphires and Emeralds that are certified as untreated. Most of the remainder of our gemstones have only received the minimum treatment to enhance their beauty and durability.
